With stunning views of the rugged Cornish coastline, a large site of historic buildings, authentic underground experience and unique wildlife, Geevor Tin Mine offers an inspirational trip for any age group. Hand-drilling session, guided underground tour, interactive Hard Rock Museum, wildlife activity trail and panning for gems are just some of the hands-on activities on offer at Geevor Tin Mine.
This cross-curricular site is also value for money as admission for educational groups includes all onsite activities and teaching resources, with accompanying adults admitted for free.
In 2007 and 2012- Geevor's Learning Team were awarded the Sandford Award for Heritage Education! These awards are valid for 5 years.
In February 2012, Geevor's Learning Team was awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge!
