i went on the underground tour and loved it the guide is / was an old mine worker and was full of infomation i would recommend this tour to all but those that are claustrophobic as the mine is very tight and small under ground but you can stay outside or walk aroun the rest of the museum well worth the money

A stupendous industrial and social history record, with some real heart rending moments. Best value day out in Cornwall? You bet your a***, True grit of working live at half the price of other "more widely talked about, plant based attractions...."

My wife and I visited in February and the whole day was very interesting and well worth the visit. I was very proud of my wife who insisted on doing the underground tour even though she is disabled, even a fit person would find being underground difficult. Our guide was very informative and interesting.
